Gutter Cleaning

Why do I need my gutters cleaned out and maintained?

Gutters are designed to collect rainwater and route it to the downspoyts to send it away from the home to protect the foundation and your landscaping.  Routine cleaning out of your gutters can prevent damage to your roof, the gutters themselves, the exterior and the foundation, saving you thousands in possible repair costs.

In the Fall, when the leaves fall on the roof, many of them do not fly off with the wind.  Many of them will settle in your gutters and reatain water.  After time, the pile of leaves in your gutter gets larger and heavier being that the leaves towards the bottom remain saturated with water.  After time, the weight of these saturated leaves will begin to make your gutters sag.  This will begin to trap even more water in your gutter, keeping the water from getting to the downspouts.  Your gutters will begin to sage even more and become a hazard.  Even with leaf guards, leaves will still begin to pile up on top of them.

After time, the leaves will begin to turn into mud and weigh down your gutters and keep water from getting to the downspouts.  In the Fall, it is important to make sure the gutters stay free of leaves.

We are here to help you make sure your gutters stay free of leaves, we will monitor the stability of your gutters, and make any recommendations to any gutters that could have existing damage.
